Modus Operandi

MGC (Pty) Ltd and its entities bring together a team of dedicated associated professionals and related partner organizations committed to making a difference. It prides itself on its ability to create measurable improvement on performance and productivity for its clients.

The strength of MGC (Pty) Ltd lies in its distinguished expertise and partnerships. Even though ownership is proprietorship-based in the form of Directorships, MGC (Pty) Ltd and entities and partners will work directly through medium- to long-term needs-based agreements with, amongst others:

  • Associate professionals who have an understanding of the underlying theories and methods of a particular field and have significant practical skills. As part of capacity strengthening, young graduates and young scientists will be matched with, and mentored by, experienced associates.
  • Individual contractors or vendors who will not take a lead role but will be responsible for managing a particular component of the assignment, although there will be some exceptions to this. This will be done through Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs) will be contracts between sole proprietors and service providers to supply the end user. SLAs are output-based in that their purpose is specifically to define what the customer will receive through the service provider.
  • Joint ventures (JVs) which will be special purpose vehicles created by two (2) or more parties, generally characterized by shared ownership, shared returns and risks, and shared governance to deliver a specific project within specified time and cost.
